A BIG BATCH of Neighbor Gifts | Harvest Loaf Recipe

Merry Christmas! I'm sharing a long time family recipe for Harvest Loaf which is the perfect gift giving quick bread for neighbors, teachers and everyone in between. H A R V E S T L O A F R E C I P E (single batch recipe will make 4 mini loaves or 1 9x5x3 loaf) I doubled this recipe to make 8 mini loaves. 1 3/4 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. ground cloves Stir all dry ingredients together and have ready to add to wet ingredients. 1/2 c. butter (no substitutes) 1 c. sugar 2 eggs Cream above ingredients thoroughly. Add 1/2 the dry ingredients. Mix gently. 3/4 c. pumpkin Add pumpkin and cream together. Add remaining flour mixture. Mix gently. 3/4 c. chocolate chips 3/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional) Using wooden spoon stir in chocolate chips and most of nuts reserving a few for the top of each loaf. Place in greased pans (mini or regular). Top with nuts if desired. Bake at 350 for 40-70 minutes depending on size of pan. Obviously the smaller your pan the shorter time needed. Cool slightly and remove from pan. Then cool completely. This is best served the next day so the bread has time to set up and the flavors meld. You will not be disappointed - this is scrumptious and makes a great neighbor gift when packaged in cute little Christmas bags. 🎄Christmas Shopping??
