Coding for Empathy: Why Accessibility isn’t a "Feature"—it’s the Foundation. Yesterday, in the second leg of building VoiceTasks, Freddie and I took a deep dive into Neuro-Inclusive Design. For many, a standard task manager adds more stress than it solves. We wanted to lower that mental barrier for ADHD and Dyslexic thinkers by making "Empathy" a core architectural requirement. How we designed for diversity: ✅ For ADHD: We implemented "Calm Design"—purposeful, quick animations and haptic feedback to reduce cognitive load and avoid visual chaos. ✅ For Dyslexia: We integrated the OpenDyslexic font. By making the bottoms of letters heavier, we help the brain distinguish between shapes like 'b' and 'd'. ✅ Combatting Visual Crowding: Custom line heights and left-aligned text to create a stable, readable environment.
