Scroll Saw Bowl With Plaid Design

This bowl has plaid design. The designer of this bowl is Carole Rothman. I did not have on hand the same material that she used. She used oak, maple and purpleheart. I substituted walnut for purple heart and an unknown light colored wood for the maple. I did not have the contrast or brightness that she did but the finish (hand wiped poly) brought the walnut out enough to make the pattern work.
