Square Bowl Cut On The Scroll Saw With A Crisscross Pattern Design

This bowl has a crisscross pattern. The designer of this bowl is Carole Rothman. I did not have on hand the same material that she used. She used teak for the main body and maple for the crossing pattern. I used maple for the main body and walnut for the cross. My first ring cut was about a degree off and had to adjust all the future cuts. That is the second time that has happened to me but early in the first project in the book Carole tells you how to adjust when that happens . It worked perfectly for me both times.
