Lakeland philanthropists formed a group known as Windsong Park Inc. that selected the urban park design firm, Sasaki. The firm held their first community feedback planning session in the Magnolia Building this week. The open house included activities to solicit feedback on the park’s potential amenities which, included options like playgrounds, walking trails, tree conservation, paddle boating, dog parks, lake and stream restoration, bike trails, boardwalks, athletic fields, water features, botanical gardens, and event spaces.
