Your sister Fatimah and your brother-in-law Sa‘id ibn Zayd have already accepted Islam!” Hearing this, Umar became even more furious and went straight to his sister’s house. Inside, the recitation of the Qur’an was going on. Umar stormed in, hit his brother-in-law, and even struck his sister, causing her forehead to bleed. But she said courageously: “Yes! We are Muslims. Do whatever you want!” These words touched Umar’s heart. He calmed down and said: “Show me the pages you were reading.” His sister responded: “You are impure.
