Achieving its incredible flavor is effortless - just olive oil, fresh herbs, and flaky sea salt are needed. The best part is the freedom to add your favorite ingredients. This no-knead focaccia requires minimal effort - around a 3-hour proofing time is all you need. Perfect for those who like no knead breads or planning ahead. The high hydration dough gives you a soft, moist crumb, and the bubbles are fun when dimpling. I modified my sourdough ratios for this focaccia and added in dry active yeast to give me a beautiful proof quickly. I will have a sourdough focaccia recipe coming with my starter, which will require a longer proof. 500 grams bread flour 6 grams yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 2 teaspoons yeast 1 Tablepoon olive oil + more for oiling dough 1 teaspoon salt + more for topping 400 grams warm water Toppings: Flakey Sea Salt Chives Rosemary Thyme I only ever use grams to weigh out my sourdough, so I went off of that with my weight of flour and warm water. Mix briefly just until combined. Cover for 30 minutes and let the flour absorb the moisture. Fold the dough over itself, going around the bowl until it forms a smooth ball. Cover again and let proof 1 1/2 hours. Turn dough into oiled parchment paper. I filled with chives, but if you don't want to, you can just tri fold it and place it back in the pan. Flip it over and cover to proof another 1 1/2 hours. Top with desired Toppings, more olive oil, and a sprinkle of flakey sea salt. Bake At 425° F for 18-20 minutes . Turn on cc for subtitles!
