The highest civil airshow in Europe - the OldtimAIR Stanserhorn 2023, a vintage airparade around the Swiss peak of Stanserhorn - took place this weekend for the 6th time and could offer again, in addition to a stunning view of the Swiss Alps, a whole range of impressive vintage aircraft. Besides warbirds like a North American AT-6 Texan, a T-28 C Trojan or a Yakovlev YAK 52, also graces of the air took part in the air parade like e.g. two (!) Junkers F13, the world's first commercial all-metal airplane, or a Douglas DC-3. Furthermore, with the De Havilland DH.60G Gipsy Moth built in 1931, the oldest Swiss airplane could be seen in the sky, as well as an Antonov AN-2, the world's largest single-engine biplane.
