Understanding RDs, RTs, and VPNv4 Routes in MPLS

To isolate one customer's traffic from another on an ISP network, MPLS uses what are known as VPNv4 routes. In this video, we build on foundational MPLS concepts that we learned about VRFs (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) in label switching. You'll get a clear introduction to Route Distinguishers (RDs) and see how they help create unique VPNv4 routes, ensuring customer traffic remains distinct.
