In this week’s episode, we swap the cottage renovations for something completely different… our first ever trip to Tunisia! 🇹🇳✈️ We explore some of the country’s most incredible historical sites — from wandering through ancient Carthage, climbing the Roman Theatre, and discovering the Antonine Baths and the Punic Necropolis, to losing ourselves in the blue-and-white magic of Sidi Bou Saïd. Then we head inland to Kairouan, a UNESCO World Heritage city. We visit the breathtaking Great Mosque, explore the beautiful Dar Hassine Allani / Maison du Gouverneur, and even find a hidden rooftop terrace with amazing views across the medina. There may also have been some handmade rug shopping… we couldn’t resist! 🧡🧵 Our final stop is the incredible El Jem Amphitheatre — one of the best-preserved Roman arenas in the world — followed by a quick dash to the El Jem Archaeological Museum before closing time. If you’re planning a trip to Tunisia and want ideas on what to see, where to go and hidden gems you shouldn’t miss, we hope this video gives you plenty of inspiration.
