This is a mostly complete ride through of "it's a small world" at Disneyland from March 1992. This is really cool because this is just after Mattel started sponsoring the ride, and about a year before they took out the original Bobby Hammock soundtrack and replaced it with the John Debney soundtrack. These were just a couple of several changes in the early-90's, as they also completely changed the second half of the hello room in 1991, from the original heraldic banners to the sea serpent and children of the world that are still there today, while the first half of the hello room still has the butterflies that were there for most of the 80's and 90's. There were a few other changes as well during a Fall 1992 refurbishment, but they are not shown here, such as the pastel façade repaint, queue rerouting, and toy shop. Also, even though they are still using the original 1964 Bobby Hammock soundtrack, there were several modifications between the mid-70's and early-80's, such as the addition of the main theme being played throughout the entire ride alongside the original cultural instrumentals, the removal of the British English third verse (replaced with a repeat of the first verse), the rerecording of the English chorus in the hello, Africa, South Seas, finale, and goodbye rooms, and the replacement of the original Japanese chorus in East Asia with the same rerecording of the English chorus. I'm not sure why they did the latter, but it was changed in the early-80's and even after they switched to the John Debney soundtrack, they still had John Debney English audio (used in Disneyland Paris version North America scene), and didn't switch back to the Japanese audio until 2003 when they brought back the original Bobby Hammock soundtrack entirely, including the parts that were removed in the 70's and 80's, not heard here. The visuals were largely as they were from 1966 until 2008 refurbishment, as there were some changes during that period both before and after this recording but most of them were small details. The finale is another exception, since this version of the finale (with the darker hues) replaced the original in the late-70's, though they would partly restore the original colors in 2008, even though they retained the black walls from this version.
