WESTMINSTER'S SHOCKING DISRESPECT FOR WASPI WOMEN Today I challenged against the U.K. Government's delivery of a mealy-mouthed response to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) report which leaves WASPI women in continued limbo with no plan to address the injustice they have suffered. The PHSO conclusions vindicated the women born in the 1950s who have been campaigning for pension justice for many years, after their state pension age was raised with little or no notice, as well as delivering a damning indictment of the Department for Work and Pensions. For the U.K. Government, aided and abetted by the incoming Labour Government to refuse to compensate these women is truly disgraceful and a shocking betrayal. We in the SNP stand shoulder to shoulder with these women who are Not Going Away 👇
