Great TRAXX sounds on this 9+2 IC Direct service at Schiphol! (And a noisy VIRMm) - Departure -

Back to my session at Schiphol Airport Station! Pretty sure most of you would prefer the true international services I shot that day, but this was actually my favourite shot of the day! Just as changes are coming for most of the (semi-) international services, the same goes for these sets, which, in the end, are nothing more than interim stock. Mind you, they've been so in different formations for more than 10 years by now! Being so, they are more than just interim sets to me. And the end of their service is coming closer and closer. For that very reason, the same reason I give more attention to the IC Berlin, the ICE 3M and the Thalys services this year, I want to capture as much footage as I still can when they're still in service. For the IC Direct TRAXX ICRm sets, I didn't have any departure footage, and I figured that was long overdue. This actually is my first time capturing a set departing!
