Wild Camping On The Legendary Two Lads Cairn

Wild camping on the legendary Two Lads Cairn is another of my bucket list camps. Carrying on the series of structures I'd like to wild camp under we headed off this weekend to a wonderful location deep in the heart of the Lancashire moorland, an area steeped in local legend. Me & Leon spent the night on the very atmospheric Cairn. What we got? Well... bad weather pretty much all night for one but we did manage to get amazing views from the top before the clouds swallowed it all up! Due to it being very light nights there were lots of people milling about so we had to wait a while before pitching. It slackened off and we managed to get a spot slightly down from the Lads but still a great location to camp at. Food was plenty and so were the laughs which you are always guaranteed with Leon. It was a shame we were tent bound most of the night but that didn't put us off. We relaxed to music and the sound of rain fall bashing hell out of our tents.
