This weeks song is one I wrote with Dad at the tail end of last year. It's about my childhood and is bit of a lament for lost youth. It's largely Ralph McTell inspired and has an acoustic folk vibe. I genuinely miss those days playing in the river Barle on Exmoor. Those were some of the best days of my life building dams and playing in inflatable boats. Buildings dams in the shadow of Landacre bridge Swallows in the sky, heather on the ridge I long to go back when our laughter would ring But time has flown by Buildings damns in the shadow of Landacre bridge Swallows in the sky, heather on the ridge I long to go back when our laughter would ring But time has flown by on electric blue wings
