Today is the last installment of our Vintage Chinook RV restoration! We take care of all the last odds and ends..and its true..the last 15% is always the hardest! We found some problems after rebuilding the carb and re-keying the ignition. There was still a small stumble in the idle we knew something wasn't right! We were able to diagnose the issue using a compression tester that we borrowed from our local AutoZone. Luckily the issue was minor and we were still able to get it to pass smog. We only ended up investing around $800, including the cost of the vehicle, and ended up selling it to a very happy owner for quite a pretty penny. We put a good amount of work into this babe, but didn't bust any knuckles..barely dropped any F bombs and ended up delivering a killer rig! It was definitely worth the work and the new buyer felt like he got a steal. Gotta love that! Thank you so much for checking out our first series!
