The Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) of Silicon Valley was pleased to welcome back David Pepper on October 1, 2023, to speak to us on: "SAVING DEMOCRACY". David was introduced by Sue Hildebrand, Northern Organizer for the California Democratic Party (CADEM), and DVC partner. David's latest book "Saving Democracy: A User's Manual for Every American" describes how we all can and must play a role in saving democracy at this fraught time. In this special DVC webinar, David spoke on the concrete steps individuals and groups can take and offer case studies and best practices that have worked elsewhere. He'll explain how all of us on all levels of the pro-democracy side, from national political leaders to grassroots activists to everyday Americans, must switch to offense, stay on offense, and win on offense - immediately, and everywhere. Democratic Volunteer Center events are co-sponsored by the CADEM Bay Area Coalition, Field Team 6, Peninsula Democratic Coalition (PDC), San Mateo County Democratic Party, Santa Clara County Democratic Party, and Sister District Peninsula.
