Easy Funnel Cakes. Subscribe for weekly videos How to make funnel cake: Ingredients: 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1-2/3 cup milk ¼ cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2-1/2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt Powder sugar for dusting Oil for frying Method: 1. Preheat a skillet half way up with vegetable, canola or corn oil and let it come to 370-375 F or test it with a wooden spoon, if it starts to bubble on the side is at the right temperature. 2. In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and set aside. In a separate jug combine the milk, vanilla and egg and whisk to combine. Pour in the milk mixture into the flour mixture, and mix until there is no lumps of flour. 3. Pour some of the funnel cake batter into a funnel and drizzle it in a round pattern in the hot pan. Cook the funnel cake for about 1-2 per each side or until nice golden brown. 4.
