East Lancashire Railway Blue Timetable New Year's Eve 31/12/2016

Hello & Welcome to the 1st video of 2017 of Harnetty Railways We are at The East Lancashire Railway during the last day of 2016 on New Year's eve. We start at Bury Bolton Streetas we see arriving into the station visiting standard 4 76084 from The Standard 4 Loco Co Ltd as we see her back down onto her train ready for the 1st train of the day. Here join 76084 on board for the run to Rawtenstall. 76084 performed brilliantly this was also the last day services would go through Burrs non-stop before the new station Burrs Country Park re-opens on New Years day (2017) in the railway's 2017 timetable. After a spirited run we soon arrive at Rawtenstall as we see her run round her train ready for the run to Heywood. After a gd departure from Bury going up the steep bridge over the Metrolink we soon arrive at Heywood. Here we see her run round ready for the 2nd run to Rawtenstall. We join her as far as Bury were we leave the train and see her depart on wards to Rawtenstall. After having lunch at Bury we see her arrive back ready for the 2nd run to Heywood we have close up look round the standard before we depart. While at Heywood we were held up and for a special reason as Ian Riley's black 5's 44871 & 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier after there long journey home from Fort William to Bury in 2 days would join the train at the rear for the run to Bury. Never I thought in a million years that I would be on a steam service top an tailed by 3 steam locos especially 2 that has just arrived from Carnforth WCRC via Copy Pit. Soon we got going on the delayed 14.15pm departure. There was not much work from the black 5's as 76084 was doing most of the work until the bridge over the metro when 44871 opened up to assist.
