There are a number of IPSC DVDs that are available but I have found Saul Kirsch's DVD series the most helpful in developing my IPSC shooting skills and techniques. Matt Burkett's video - IPSC Strategies - does provide some good advice but I think for a new shooter, most of the advice may not be immediately meaningful. I think a new shooter may have to have a few matches under his belt and have had a few people provide pointers of how to "attack" a stage and also have been told some basics of when and why to engage certain targets first. I believe an experienced shooter will understand my comment as soon as he / she watches Matt Burkett's video. As he is shooting a match while making this video, he isn't taking the time I had hoped he would to explain his reasons for the target engagement sequence he has chosen. For some stages he provides a better explanation than other stages. It's hit and miss in my opinion. Saul Kirsch's two DVD series are the ones to get. They are by far the best I have seen. Everyone that I have recommended these DVDs to have been very satisfied and happy that they purchased them.
