"The Addo" conjures up images of wide open landscapes filled with freely roaming animals and eager onlookers edging along in their game vehicles, hoping to capture a glimpse of a majestic creature, free in its natural environment. Evenings draw to a close around the campfire as over-exaggerated tales are exchanged and hearty laughter fills the air... Although our rainy expedition to the Addo and our last day in Gqeberha was not quite as picturesque, we would never want to exchange the experience we shared. From our mountaintop sanctuary, to our attempts at being coffee connoisseurs, to taking a bath in the great outdoors - but the moment we saw our one lone elephant walk around the corner and right next to us... You just can't explain the feeling. But we can show you.
