Learning Objectives: We will discuss the following practice gaps regarding evaluation the risk of malignancy in adrenal mass & what to do if adrenal cancer. Those gaps are listed below: • Lack of experience with diagnosis of ACC on presentation. (differential diagnosis of adrenal mass) • Lack of referral: Experienced endocrinologists / endocrine surgeons (initial evaluation) • Inappropriate therapies: Prior to referral to endocrinologists / endocrine surgeons (initial treatment) • Challenges of standards of care: surgery / mitotane/ chemotherapy - proper use (Standard of care) • Lack of optimal second- and third-line systemic therapies. (Standard of care) 1. Understand differential diagnosis of adrenal mass and standards or care for work-up and clinical care 2. Discuss the role of genetics in the pathobiology of adrenal cancer and to discuss how such knowledge is transforming how we care for our patients.
