She Code Africa Digital Literacy Program 2025 - OYO State Edition

Did you know? In Nigeria, only 13.4% of women have ever used a computer compared to 21.8% of men. The She Code Africa Digital Literacy Program, sponsored by HP through the HP Digital Equity Accelerator, is changing that narrative, one woman at a time. Our first cohort in Ibadan, Oyo State, welcomed 215 women, with 185 successfully completing the two-week training and receiving certification. These women are now equipped with essential digital skills for education, employment, and entrepreneurship. In partnership with the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion and local NGOs, this program is just the beginning of a year-long initiative to train over 600 women across Nigeria, equipping them with the digital skills needed for education, employment, and much more.
