She Code Africa STEM A Girl Initiative - Kaduna State, Nigeria Edition.

#RoadToEmpowering2000inGirlsInSTEM In July 2024, we kicked off an impactful journey to empower 2000 African girls in STEM. We visited schools in Nigeria across Ogun, Lagos, Osun, FCT, Rivers, Delta, and Abia states. We wrapped up our mission in Kaduna State. We held a 3 day outreach/ workshop session with over 200 girls. Day 1 was an outreach day where we introduced the girls to STEM, career opportunities, and more. On Day 2 and Day 3, we went hands-on by introducing the girls to SCRATCH and helping them build their first line following robot cars! To ensure they continue learning, we launched STEM clubs and donated laptops, STEM kits, and resources for hands-on learning. We are glad for the opportunity to introduce STEM to over 3000 girls across Nigeria. It has been a great journey.
