BUSY At Work – The Apprenticeship Community is proud to support women pursuing trade careers, working alongside industry partners such as @cummins to help foster welcoming, inclusive workplaces across the trades. Entering a trade can be a significant step — particularly for women moving into traditionally male-dominated industries. Strong employers and well-supported apprenticeship pathways play an important role in creating environments where women feel respected, valued and empowered to succeed. At Cummins, apprentices are supported through hands-on learning, a positive team culture and equal opportunities to develop their skills. BUSY At Work helps make the transition into an apprenticeship clearer and more accessible, providing guidance from the outset so apprentices know where to turn for information and support. That early clarity reduces barriers and allows apprentices to focus on learning, building capability and settling confidently into their role. Apprentices at Cummins are also encouraged to explore the breadth of opportunities available to them. Exposure to different roles, strong mentoring and clear progression pathways help turn an apprenticeship into a long-term career — not just a starting point. Together, inclusive workplaces and strong industry partnerships are creating genuine, sustainable pathways for women in trades — supporting skill development, career progression and lasting opportunity. 💡 Considering a trade career? With the right support and the right workplace, there’s a place for you. 👉 Learn more about apprenticeships and support through BUSY At Work – The Apprenticeship Community.
