Let's jump back to our "Westcountry Holiday" from July 2013 and just after sunrise at Westbury Station we see EWS 60065 "Spirit of Jaguar" which had been stabled overnight start up and move off... Tug 65 is an interesting one for me, it was a very familiar engine having spent many months at Warrington on the Fiddlers Ferry Power Station circuit, unbeknownst to me it had moved down to Westbury days before my visit... 60065 was also my first official Class 60 for haulage when it hauled a part of my railtour to Southport the following year (I had 60064 for a cab ride from Salford Crescent to Preston then Bolton in the early 90s). At the time we were less than impressed to see 60065 at Westbury but in hindsight it was nice to see as it has been stored for a while now. 60065 entered traffic in September 1991 with the name "Kinder Low" which it carried until July 1999. It was originally allocated to the Petroleum Sector of Railfreight. In April 2003 it was renamed "Spirit of Jaguar" following it's repaint into EWS livery. In 2012 it was overhauled and classed as a "Super Sixty" but retained it's EWS livery instead of the DB Schenker livery.
