Here's a simple method for making archival wheat paste. This is great for making bookcloth, or for any process where you might want to reverse the gluing later, like photos glued into a scrapbook, or for making hinges if you're framing drawings or prints. BTW, the wheat flour that I mention in the video is just plain old all-purpose white flour that you can buy at any grocery store! You can also make this paste with wheat starch, available here, which has the gluten removed. This makes it a bit more resistant to insects. https://amzn.to/2Q6oeZ0 And if you don't want to make paste at all, this Nori paste is a perfect archival substitute: https://amzn.to/2KBlZf6 BUY ME A COFFEE: ○ If you enjoy the content, please support me here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/KristiWa... ○ Don't forget to subscribe, and visit my website at http://www.handmadebooksandjournals.com/ ○ Email me: [email protected] ○ Visit http://kristihandmadebooks.etsy.com to purchase 3D printed bookmaking tools.
