The Watercress Line Autumn Steam Gala 2025

During the first weekend in October, the Watercress Line would hold their Autumn Steam Gala, it's biggest in terms of stars for a number of years. The highlight was undoubtedly A4 Pacific Sir Nigel Gresley making her visit to the Watercress Line since 1996 nearly 20 years ago. She joined by fellow by Battle of Britain class Sir Archibald Sinclair which was visiting from the Bluebell Railway. These were joined by home fleet which included: Merchant Navy Class 35005 Canadian Pacific Urie S15 class 30506 Ivatt Class tank 2mt 41312 Kilmersdon was also out in Ropley yard on driving experiences.
