In this tutorial video, I'm going to show you how to add your own recorded audio to Grid for iPad. Whether you're using Super Core 50 or any other grid set, this tutorial works on all of them. Adding your own recorded audio to Grid for iPad can be incredibly helpful, especially for children who are in stage one of natural language acquisition (NLA)/ gestalt language processing (GLP). With this step-by-step guide, you'll be able to add your own personalized gestalts and help your child communicate even more effectively. To get started, navigate to the page where you want to add the recorded audio. In my example, I'm going to the messages tab and then the go tab. From there, navigate to the upper right-hand corner to the three dots for settings options and select "edit grids". Next, select the cell where you want to add the recorded audio and then select "edit cell". Remove the write command from the button where you'll be playing recorded audio by selecting the X and then add the play sound command. Select the "add command" button, then go to recordings and select "play sound". You can browse files that are already within Grid for iPad or add any recordings you have on your device. Check that the sound actually recorded by selecting "play now". Customize your icon by selecting the rectangle on the left to type in your label, and then selecting the rectangle on the right to find a picture. Then, select "done" and "finish editing". Test your button and it should work perfectly! If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel for more technology tips and tutorials.
