Teamwork with a Forward Air Controller on Rotorheads

Cook happens to be an excellent FAC, wrangling up ~20 aircraft into a semi-coherent structure with everyone engaged and aiming to contribute. Check out the discord's server-info & the website map reporting enemy sightings - there's always some folks on, and if there's a critical mass w/ a FAC, odds are something like this is happening. This was just another evening on Rotorheads - so other than the sitreps posted on the discord, it's not a planned misison with pre-briefed roles, flights and complimentary aircraft selections, but a 'whomever joins in whatever'. I mention cook, but obviously credit for Tupper on creating & hosting this beast, Crifort and all the other commanders pushing the frontlines and reds to keep it engaging. I was fully immersed in my activities, so unfortunately I couldn't capture all the other cool stuff that was happening, including CSAR, slingloads, crate-drops, coordination with fixed-wing drops, etc. etc. The recording of my voice cut out slightly on a few occasions, so when they woulda heard "go for Volk", it might just have "Volk" on the vid. And yeah I need to work on my brevity & comms in terms of "no joy", "tally" etc. Ended up taking I think 2 TOW missiles and got home safely each time. Both times would have been avoidable if I just followed my own advice and kept my distance ;-)
