9th EWA-AWLN High-Level Breakfast Meeting

The 9th EWA & AWLN High-Level Breakfast Meeting aims to secure concrete commitments and strengthen strategic alliances to accelerate the implementation of EWA and AWLN programmes that will advance women's leadership, access to resources, and transformative impact within Africa's agricultural value chains. Objectives of the High-Level Breakfast Meeting are: -Facilitate high-level stakeholder discussions and knowledge exchange to strengthen the EWA and AWLN Initiatives through strategic approaches and commitments. -Celebrate rural women and honour their vital contributions to agriculture in recognition of the International Year of the Woman Farmer in 2026; -Showcase EWA and AWLN’s impacts, achievements, challenges, and success stories; -Present the EWA Scorecard project as a harmonized assessment tool to measure progress, promote evidence-based decision-making, ensure accountability, accelerate policy development and implementation in pilot countries, and increase investments that empower women in agrifood systems.
