The Duke of Sussex has arrived at court to challenge the decision the government made to change his security status. A committee downgraded it in February 2020 after he and his wife Meghan stepped back from life as working royals. Last year, the High Court told Harry that the decision was lawful, BUT the Court of Appeal has now allowed Harry to challenge the decision and his lawyers claim that he "inherited a security risk at birth, for life". He said he'd be happy to pay for the security himself - but Home Office lawyers opposed the idea of allowing wealthy individuals to 'buy' security from the police.
