Thursday, February 26, 2026 I would move east to the next crossing and take a look at the nearby intermediate signals. One of them was still red as 13N wasn't too far ahead. I continue waiting until the signal still stays red and I see headlights. I set up once those headlights get closer and manage to catch NS 11N-25 slowly heading west with a pair of NS AC44C6Ms at the Opfer Lentz Road railroad crossing in Martin on the Chicago Line. This crossing has a pair of Conrail 1990s gated signals that would have their original Safetran incandescents replaced with GE Uniform Look LEDs, the diagonally striped gates with NEG incandescents were replaced with vertically striped gates with RECO LEDs, and the Safetran hybrid bell was replaced on the right signal with a WCH mechanical bell.
