Nassim Road/Tanglin: Home to grand mansions and GCBs, this is considered Singapore's most exclusive residential enclave, featuring record-breaking property sale prices. This afternoon I decided to take a walk along Nassim Road, where the homes of the Super Rich & Wealthy lives, with each real estate enough to build many HDB blocks. Singapore's richest areas are dominated by exclusive districts like Nassim Road, Tanglin, Ardmore Park, and Sentosa Cove, known for Good Class Bungalows (GCBs) and ultra-luxury condos, with Nassim Road often cited as the most expensive street. Other prime locations include areas around Orchard Road, Holland Road, and Botanic Gardens, attracting high-net-worth individuals and top executives. I often dreamed since young what it is like to live and owned a house in such a prime location. During school days, I often get slapped or scolded for day dreaming. After few decades of working so hard, I ended up since living in a HDB, only able to graduated to a Condo before falling back after the 2008-09 financial crisis. Till today, I still dream about living in a house in Nassim Road. I discovered the land belonging to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia is now vacant since they moved out. But I know I can’t afford it.
