Learn how to make Restaurant Style Desi Chicken Shorba ( Stew) Winter Special | Recipe By Food For Mood Ingredients: 1000g desi chicken (with bones, cut into pieces) 2 onions (finely chopped) 2 tomatoes (chopped) 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 2 green chilies (slit) 1/2 cup coriander leaves (chopped) 1/4 cup mint leaves (chopped) 1 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp coriander whole and crushed 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp cumin seeds whole and crushed 1 small cinnamon stick 2-3 cloves 5-8 cups water 1and half cup oil or ghee Salt to taste Instructions: Sauté the spices: Heat oil or ghee in a pot. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, . Let them crackle. Cook the onions: Add chopped onions and tomatoes turmeric powder red chili powder coriander and jeera whole crushed mixture. Add ginger-garlic paste: Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. Cook onion tomatoes and all spices for 5 min on low flame Add the desi chicken and stir it on medium flame for 8 mins till oil separates or colour changes Pour 4 cups of water in pressure and let it cook in pressure for 15 min or till its tender. Now open the pressure add more water if more shorba is required and let it cook for 10 min on low flame Now pour the shorba in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and mint leaves and green chilies and thin slice cut ginger. Ready to serve Pour water: Add 4-5 cups of water, cover, and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes on low heat. Final seasoning: Add garam masala, green chilies, coriander leaves, and mint leaves. Let it cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot: Enjoy your Desi Murghi Shorba with naan, roti, or steamed rice!
