In this week's video we are running along Train Sim Germany's brand new Frankenbahn Stuttgart Heilbronn route for Dovetail Games' Train Sim World 6 on rather oldish electric locomotives, the DB BR 110 und the DB BR 140. Taking the opportunity, we investigate this group of locomotives, called the "Einheitslokomotiven" or "Einheitselektrolokomotiven" (standardized electric locomitives) developed in the 1950s by the then "Deutsche Bundesbahn" and built until they got replaced by the next generation of electric locomotives in the 1970s.
