Freedom Plane Carrying Historic Documents Leaves for Tour

A tour to bring founding-era documents from the National Archives to various American cities began Monday (3/2). The Boeing 737 "Freedom Plane" will take documents, including the original engraving of the Declaration of Independence, the Treaty of Paris, and others, first to Kansas City, Missouri where they will be on display Friday, March 6 - Sunday, March 22. The National Archives traveling exhibit coincides with America 250.
