Today on Booze On The Rocks we show you how to make the El MACUÁ Cocktail. This cocktail is named after the Central American bird, the Macaw. It is also Nicaragua's national cocktail. It was created in 2006 for the El Trago Nacional "National Dink Competition" by Dr. Edmundo Miranda Saenz, a native of Granada, Nicaragua. Add all the ingredients to the shaker tin. 2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds. 3. Pour into a highball glass over fresh ice. 4. Combine the sugar and water in a medium sauce pan on the stove. 2. Gradually heat until the sugar is full dissolved into the water. 3. Allow to cool and then add to a clean bottle. 4.
