Stellarex Drug-Coated Balloon Animation

The Stellarex drug-coated balloon (DCB) is an angioplasty balloon with EnduraCoat technology allowing treatment of arterial lesions in peripheral artery disease (PAD) with a low drug dose. We developed an animation for Philips showing the mechanism of action (MoA) of their Stellarex DCB platform. The animation follows the therapy device as it is guided along the artery before arriving at the lesion site. It then looks at how the combined effects of the angioplasty balloon and low drug dose target the lesion and allow normal blood flow to resume. The animation is housed on the Philip’s Stellarex product page showcasing it as an innovative image-guided therapy device.
