In episode 111, we're heading to the Priory of the Nine to face a trial against the spirits of the Nine Knights in the Undercroft. After proving ourselves in battle, we earn the Cuirass of the Crusader and begin our quest to recover the Gauntlets of the Crusader in Chorrol—but there's a catch. When we go inside, we see a large symbol on the ground, and upon interacting with it, the floor reveals a descending set of stairs. We head down and discover what's waiting for us. Stepping into the Undercroft, we discover Sir Amiel's spirit, and he tells us that we need to face each of the Nine Knights before they'll trust us. These knights fall one by one to our blade until they've all been defeated in battle. Once all of them have been successfully bested, we're rewarded with the Cuirass of the Crusader. Next, we have to talk to each of the knights to get information on how to obtain the remaining pieces of the Crusader Armor. It takes us some time to hear each knight's tale, but we wrap things up eventually. Once we've heard from each of them, we head to Chorrol in pursuit of the Gauntlets of the Crusader. But as soon as we touch down in the town, a guard starts giving us crap. So we of course resist arrest and head to the Chapel. But before we go inside, we remember what one of the knights had said—he accidentally killed someone and was no longer able to lift the gauntlets. It looks like we might be in a VERY similar situation. We let the guards fight among themselves in the streets once we've made them all friends. We then enter the Chapel, but unfortunately, the guards follow closely behind. Once they're inside, they end up taking the lives of a lot of people in the Chapel with us. Hopefully none of them are important. When we find the gauntlets in the Chapel, we quickly realize there's no way we'll be able to lift these things. Talking to Areldur, we're advised to go see Kellen for more information. Meeting up with Kellen, he tells us how he tried lifting the gauntlets but failed. He also informs us that he's been suffering from a curse his whole life. We don't get much else out of him before he tells us to go back and talk to Areldur again. Areldur explains that the only way to free Kellen of his curse is for us to take it on ourselves. So we pray at the Chapel to learn the spell needed to perform the act. Once we've taken on Kellen's curse and damaged our fatigue, we're then allowed to lift the gauntlets off the floor. We head upstairs, pick them up, and then head back to the Priory of the Nine to inform the knights. Leaving the Chapel, we try to convince a guard to forgive our crimes, but it doesn't work out at all. So we just flee the town and run to see S'krivva in Bravil. Unfortunately when we arrive, we're greeted by additional guards who don't seem to like us very much. Also, it looks like S'krivva's door is locked. Great. We attempt to break into her house and get her to handle our bounty, but after we break in, we find that she's not even there. So we continue desperately searching Bravil for her. After a bit of time, we find this woman chilling at the Lonely Suitor Lodge, and she's able to successfully handle the trouble we've found ourselves caught up in. With that mess behind us, we continue where we left off and return to the Priory of the Nine. We head downstairs to see the knights and end the episode shortly after that.
