This is a quick step by step video on how to remove and replace a coolant temperature sensor for a Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L engine. There are many reasons you may decide to change your sensor such as engine is running too hot or engine is running too cold (below the thermostat regulating temperature. This may show up as a P0128 code or possibly a P0118 or P0117 code. Whatever the reason you have, this video will show you how to replace the sensor. In this video we are showing you on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited and we have aftermarket inner fenders. The video does not show you how to remove the aftermarket inner fenders because there are many different designs that could be applied. It does give a verbal description on how to remove an OEM inner fender. Removing the tire on the driver side is optional based on your Jeep, lift and accessibility. Please read your owner's manual for specific details on your Jeep. Coolant types are different based on your Jeep Wrangler year model. Please use caution and understand the risks when working on your vehicle. Use a professional service technician when necessary.
