Understanding Zuhd: Zuhd is often misunderstood as complete renunciation of the world. In reality, it signifies a heart unattached to material possessions, focusing instead on the eternal life of the Hereafter. Recommended Zuhd: Refraining from excessive indulgence in permissible (halal) matters that may lead to neglecting religious duties. Permissible Zuhd: Choosing simplicity in life without deeming the permissible as forbidden, maintaining balance as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
