10cc live backing tapes - 1980 and 1982 tours - I'm Mandy, Fly Me and I'm Not in Love (karaoke!)

Here's a real treat for 10cc fans, and lovers of the best-produced record of all time! We recently bought these three tapes at auction, from part of the collection of 10cc and Strawberry Studios material previously owned by their late tour manager Zeb White. These are backing tapes used on the band's 1980 and 1982 tours, featuring two (or three!) songs. The first is the intro and bell effects for I'm Mandy, Fly Me. The real treasure here though is the backing track for I'm Not in Love. It's absolutely stunning to hear this incredible arrangement and production without any of the lead vocal parts! This is the first time this has ever been heard in isolation, by anyone outside the band or Strawberry Studios. Another surprise can be heard at the end of this video, a sound effect for the middle section of From Rochdale to Ocho Rios! This was discovered on the Backing Tracks Safety Master for the 1982 tour. The tapes were engineered by Steve Cooksey at Strawberry South in Dorking.
