Following our defeat of the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, it's time to return to Hornsent Grandam, and turn our attention to those precious little moments with the locals. Grandam is happy to see us as we don the lion's head, and she gifts us with her home made scorpion stew... this would be suspect at the best of times, but now it appears to be well passed it's 'best before date'. Still, we accept her gift and offer it to her son back at the Three-Path Cross. The Hornsent notices that it is not fresh, but still appreciates the small taste of home. As we continue to meet and help NPCs in our quest to find more Miquella's crosses, we encounter Thiollier at another cross location. He is a weak and sickly fellow, reeking of cowardice but skilled in the art of poisons. We fetch some suspicious black syrup for him from Moore, before advancing up the nearby hills in search of the Dragon's Pit. We do locate the pit, but must fight off the spirit of Ancient Dragon Man along the way. Entering the pit, we speed through, using it as a passage to the Jagged Peak, but the real Ancient Dragon Man now stands in our way. It's Dragon Man versus Dragon Man in this iconic clash, but after we dispatch the imposter, we journey forth to the heart of dragon territory. As we approach the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, we speak with the Dragon Priestess as we prepare for our eventual ascent of the Jagged Peak!
