This is a late afternoon of spotting on the SBB Heitersberg Line between Zurich and Olten from September 2025. The Heitersberg Line (line number 650) is the main link for all rail traffic westward out of Zurich. Frequent IC and IR trains as well as international connections pass through Rupperswil to/from Bern, Basel, Lausanne, Geneva and other points to the west, and Zurich, St. Gallen, Romanshorn, Chur and other points to the east. Freight traffic is also frequent, as well as RE and S-Bahn services from Zurich and S-Bahn services of Canton Aargau.
