This video shows the process for drilling the truck holes on your skateboard and sanding down the cut shape. Notes: I don't countersink the truck holes here because this is a 4-ply deck that will be used as a core to be wrapped with carbon fiber (normally I countersink to a depth of about 1/16") a pilot hole bit is a smaller bit (1/16" - 1/8") for drilling your holes - this helps make a cleaner cut when using the full size bit (3/16") and helps center the hole on your marked point disc sander grit is about 80, and the belt is about 100; the random orbital sander grit is about 120 at first, then swapped for 220 always wear safety gear while building (such as eye, respiratory, and ear protection) Previous videos: Shaping a skateboard deck:    • Shaping a Skateboard Deck   Clearcoating a skateboard deck:    • How to clearcoat a skateboard deck   Board building resources: http://www.opensourceboards.com/diy.html Sorry again for the delay if you've been waiting for this!
