Otherwise, you may suffer the consequences.“ ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Os Ovimbundu O grupo Ovimbundu fala a língua Umbundu. Este grupo estende-se por um vasto território a meio da parte Oeste de Angola, subindo do litoral para as terras altas. Com uma população equivalente a aproximadamente 23% da população do país, é o maior grupo etnolinguístico de Angola, congregando 14 etnias diferentes. A língua Umbundu é falada no planalto central, nas províncias do Bié, Huambo e Benguela, sendo a sua influência também notável no Namibe, Cuando Cubango e Huíla. A língua dos Ovimbundu tem cinco variantes: Ambwi; Kacisanje; Kakonda; Lumbu; Mbalundu; Mwanya; e Ndombe. — The Ovimbundu The Ovimbundu people speak the Umbundu language. This people extends over a vast territory in the middle of western Angola, rising from the coast to the highlands. With a population equivalent to approximately 23% of the country’s population, it is the largest ethnolinguistic group in Angola, bringing together 14 different ethnic groups. The Umbundu language is spoken on the central plateau, in the provinces of Bié, Huambo and Benguela, and its influence is also notable in Namibe, Cuando Cubango and Huíla.
