During her visit to Taipei American School, aerospace engineer Janelle Wellons shared her journey from dreaming about space to working at NASA, and now contributing to lunar exploration at ispace Japan. Through stories of failure, persistence, and growth, she reminded students that success is rarely a straight line, but shaped by courage, creativity, and the willingness to keep going. Students across divisions experienced the spirit of exploration firsthand. Middle School students took on a Martian communication challenge, stepping into mission roles that highlighted teamwork, problem solving, and imagination. In her keynote, The Art of Exploring the Cosmos, Janelle spoke about the human side of space exploration and the importance of curiosity, collaboration, and believing in new possibilities.
