This talk presents a concrete, practice-driven perspective on how quantum education is evolving beyond traditional academic curricula through structured, student-led initiatives such as Quantum ÉTS and Qbit at GUC. By leveraging hands-on workshops, international hackathons, community-based learning, and events such as Qiskit Fall Fest, these clubs foster active engagement with quantum computing and its intersections with artificial intelligence. The talk also addresses key educational challenges related to quantum initiatives, drawing on insights from the COMSIC Quantum Taskforce, and highlights how research, standardisation efforts, and pedagogy can be aligned to build coherent, inclusive, and scalable learning pathways. Overall, the session illustrates how grassroots initiatives can inform institutional strategies and support the transformation of teaching practices in line with emerging education frameworks.
