Moor of Feshie - Rothiemurchus - Glenmore | Gravel Bike Ride from Aviemore, Scotland This fantastic gravel bike route explores the ancient Caledonian Pinewoods of the Moor of Feshie, Rothiemurchus, and Glenmore. Along the way, you'll pass the eerie Old Doune Church graveyard (with its "cursed" grave), Drake's Bothy, the island castle ruins of Loch an Eilein, and the sandy shores of Loch Morlich with stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains. Looking for a break along the way? Stop by the cycle-friendly Glenmore Visitor Centre Café for coffee and cake, or pop next door to the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre. Both are just off the route — a short detour to your right where the trail crosses the road after leaving Loch Morlich. Then cruise down the Old Logging Way back to Aviemore. Most of the ride follows quiet back roads and well-maintained forest and gravel trails.
